Surprisingly, I first heard of the book when I stumbled upon it in a small bookstore in Brooklyn - no computers involved. Bought it, love it. Even my friends who aren't tuned in to the street photography genre love it as well. And now I'm enjoying the response I see online.

Nice presentation Bryan and very cohesive. I have bought the book and I was mostly thrilled with the new "discoveries". The reproduction is very good indeed. I am passionate about street photography as much as you are, both as an advocate and as a photographer, but I think the most frequent criticism about the genre is the absence of, in most cases, profound content that can lift a body of work into a meaningful narrative.
I'm not implying that this is the case, but this is what makes street photography really tough contrary to the widely perceived notion that is easy.
And now a small quiz for the people who have read SPN and the Bystander. Which is the only photograph that's been reproduced in both books?
